EPFO Contact - Toll free Number for EPF / UAN

Since Dec 2016 to March 2017, EPFO (Employee Provident fund Organization) has taken a massive exercise to digitize all EPFO member records and enroll as many new member as possible. To make it practical, it has now mandated compulsory UAN number for all fresh contribution to EPF.

Though EPFO has right intentions in place, in practice these changes have led to lot of confusion for EPF members and employers. In addition, new EPFO unified website is down lot of times due to massive load. To address these concerns, EPFO has a launched a toll free number through which people contact EPF.

EPFO Toll Free Number for UAN

EPFO toll free contact number is 1800118005 and it is available from 09:15 AM to 05:45 PM on all seven days a week.

Using this service, members can enquire about new UAN based changes, changes in ECR return or questions about contributions to your EPF account or UAN activation.

Please note that along with mandatory UAN, KYC (know your customer) and Aadhaar linkage is also mandatory now for EPF members where one need to provide their PAN and Aadhaar card details to your employer.
