Lucky Grahak Yojana - Lucky Draw Rules and Rewards

To promote cashless payments, Indian government has launched a reward scheme for consumers called 'Lucky Grahak Yojana'. Under this scheme, every consumer making a payment using approved digital payment systems will be added to a lucky draw and people will get cash rewards.

Every consumer making a purchase using any approved digital payment will be automatically added to lucky draw. Lucky draws will be conducted every day, every week, followed by a mega prize at the end of the scheme.

Note: Lucky Grahak Scheme is valid for any digital transaction done between Nov 8, 2016 to April 14, 2017. To be eligible the transaction amount need to be between Rs 50 and Rs 3000

  • Daily lucky draw - Starting Dec 25, 2016. There will be 15000 rewards to won every day and each prize will be of Rs 1000. This scheme will remain valid for 100 days.

  • Weekly Lucky draw - Starting Dec 25, 2016. There will be
    7000 rewards every week with max prize of Rs 1 lakh. First weekly lucky draws will be conducted on Dec 25th 2016.

  • Final Mega Prize - The final mega prize conducted on April 14 will have 3 Mega Prizes for consumers worth Rs 1 cr, 50 lakh, 25 lakh. It will be based on for digital transactions between 8th November, 2016 to 13th April, 2017 to be announced on 14th April, 2017

Lucky Grahak Yojana - Approved Payment systems

All digital transactions done through UPI, USSD, Aadhar Enabled Payment System (AEPS) and RuPay cards will be allowed for lucky draws.

Following is not part of this scheme:

  • Any transaction below Rs 50 or above Rs 3000
  • Peer to peer transfers and business to business transfers
  • Credit cards or non-Rupay debit cards (e.g., visa or master debit cards)
  • e-wallet like paytm and mobikwik

How to participate in lucky draw?

Having RuPay Debit Card

If you have RuPay debit card POS, then you can go and do the purchases using your RuPay debit card and you will be all set for lucky draw.

Having Smartphone and Internet - Use UPI

Next easiest option for participating in lucky rewards is through UPI (Unified Payment Interface). Different banks have come up with their UPI mobile app to ensure easy digital transactions. Using a UPI mobile app, customers can quickly transfer money from their bank accounts to shopkeeper's bank account.

No Internet or Only feature phone - Use USSD

If you don't have Internet or smartphone, then you will have to use USSD for digital payments. Please follow how to pay using your feature phone and USSD - step by step guide

Once you made a digital transaction, you don't have to do anything else to participate in lucky draw. Government will keep track of all transactions and will do a lucky draw on all transactions.

Lucky Grahak Yojana Results and List of Winners

Starting Dec 25, 2016, winners will be declared daily for Lucky Grahak Yojana.

As of now, list of winners is not yet declared. Once declared, it will be made available at NPCI website (www.npci.org.in) and NITI website (niti.gov.in). We will also update the list of winners at our website. So please check back again.
